Have you ever thought about your flow state? How you get into it? And even more importantly — why you get thrown out of it?

These kind of questions are the ones I pondered over when exploring how and why I was in a consistent flow state for over 2 weeks in the beginning of 2021. Everything seemingly fell into place. I was inspired, motivated and progressing at a speed I never had before. Why was this the case? I struggled to find out why. And of course the internet was not of much help either. I couldn’t find a…

Potential customers gather to solve their own problems on social networks every day. Here is how to discover unconventional opportunities.

You want to start something.

But don’t know where to begin.

And whether people need what you envision.

Well. You’re definitely at the right address. Let’s explore how social media platforms are an endless source of business ideas.

If you are anything like me, you are constantly looking to identify real problems, experienced by real people. Why? Because you want to improve your future customer's lives and have a true impact.

Personally, I like building things. And not just copy proven business models other people have already made. That’s boring.

But finding and defining problems that give way to…

HUSTLE OS Box Design

I do everything in Notion… organizing my personal life, planning my professional life, and tracking my overall progress. I created a digital product at the intersection of my skills in the following three ways:

  1. What interests me: structure and optimization of my personal and professional.
  2. What interests my audience: progress more effectively with hustles.
  3. What I have credibility with: two startups and two business degrees.

Why I Created HUSTLE OS

I am currently doing my MSc in High Tech Entrepreneurship in Barcelona and also have a degree in business development. I’ve been exposed to standard business building procedures, but never dove deep into startup theory…

I wrote this article in 10 minutes.

Let’s begin with my favorite definition of innovation:

An innovation is a feasible relevant offering such as a product, service, process or experience with a viable business model that is perceived as new and is adopted by customers. — Gijs Van Wulfen

Simple right? Let’s dig a little deeper…

Innovation can be done in two ways:

  1. You’re so close to a problem you understand it and the industry better than anyone else — you are a domain expert.
  2. You’re so distanced or unfamiliar with a problem, you see something no one else can — you are an industry outsider.

A proven 3-step approach to personal branding

Recently I took the Marketing New Realities and the Personal Brand class by the great Mark Schaefer as part of my MSc High Tech Entrepreneurship at Harbour.Space University. There were many brilliant concepts covered. But the core centered around how the world increasingly emphasizes this fact: A brand's credibility and existence now rely on what customers say and do rather than what the brand wants them to do.

Before going into my three main takeaways, let me share two case studies I felt were quite impactful to myself and the broader class.

A critical look at how to form the right questions

Photo by Felicia Buitenwerf on Unsplash

Have you ever sat in a lecture, a seminar, an online course or any public presentation and witnessed someone in the audience ask a question that just made you gaze downwards and shake your head? Sometimes with even more extreme reactions such as allowing your face to fall into your hands — in an effort to hide the embarrassment of being associated in the same audience as the person asking the question..? You’re not alone. Situations like this are examples of something called Vicarious Embarrassment — the concept of being embarrassed of other peoples actions.

I’ve recently been in this…

Recently, I’ve stumbled across multiple different conversations that put me face to face with an interesting question…

What determines the creativity in a human?

I am sure, if you are creative — or not, you have come across a situation where you are left wondering what really defines creativity in one way or another. Whether you yourself have been described or have listened to others be described as such. What really makes a person creative?

My name is Julian Paul. I am a trained Sound Engineer, DJ & Music Producer at heart and an immense passion for conceptual Branding. Being…

Over the course of 2020, I have exposed myself to countless situations during which I am required to present, pitch businesses and absolve stand-ups. And I have gathered quite the experience:

  1. Currently, I am studying at both Hyper Island and Harbour.Space University at the same time. Both of these amazingly challenging & progressive universities provided me with countless opportunities, where I was allowed to pitch concept solutions to the clients we worked for.
  2. I march 2020, I founded VENTRY, a short-format remote accelerator for graduates. …

From StartupGuide LinkedIn

In August 2020 year I was approached by the Startup Guide to Project Manage their upcoming Startup Guide Germany Project, which is a larger version of what is usually a localised approach to cover cities. This one contains 5 different regions and shifts the typical startup scene focus to cover more of the social impact and sustainability sector.

At Startup Guide, we feature 6 different types of organisations: Startup, Space, Program, School, Investors & Founders. By categorising the companies, Project Managers can easily distinguish the requirements needed for each feature, as some are shorter and others longer. …

Recently, I took a step back from the busyness of rushing to work every morning, only to return back home and continue to hustle on my side projects. At times my days feel like a hamster wheel of never-ending progress, disappointment and varying degrees of success.

But within all of these morphing states of existence, I always tend to seek some kind of a balance… For most people this is a place, a habit or a routine they would naturally fall back into, manifesting itself as a signal that is not only way too easy to miss, but at times…
